Representative projects
An unmanned surveillance framework for the Korean National Police Agency covering maritime situation monitoring, target identification and analysis, and situation dissemination. It automatically detects and tracks unidentified or suspicious vessels off Ulleungdo and Dokdo, making national land and maritime boundary duties more efficient.
Upgrading ageing systems and drive mechanisms to enhance video surveillance performance, enabling early identification of distant targets in the East and West Sea front-line naval areas.
Using radar, VHF and AIS to secure vessel traffic safety and efficiency in ports and coastal waters and to protect the marine environment — observing the movement of vessels within the control area and providing the information exchange this requires.
Remote monitoring of TRS base stations exposed to disaster risk such as wildfire, with video surveillance and recording, fire detection, temperature and humidity, and leak data acquisition around each station.
Removal of the antenna system and the longwave transmission system at the Yeoju national standard time signal station on relocation, together with fire equipment, HVAC and control room equipment removal, performed using mobile crane methods.
The Army Intelligence School opened a specialist drone training centre to develop talent ahead of drone-based combat systems. ICTWAY delivered the new-build communication works.
